Son Maddox Jolie-Pitt was on the scene and he wasn?t accompanied by his parents, having come out for paint-balling only with a bodyguard, AceShowbiz reports.
Eyewitnesses tell the media that, while Maddox was inside, they noticed someone was trying to get into an SUV. Because there was something suspicious about the way he acted, they called the cops.As it turns out, he was a thief and he had just seen the iPad in the car and was trying to get to it. He probably figured there would be personal, family photos and information on it, which he could later sell for a pretty buck to the tabs.
?During the arrest, eldest son Maddox was on site, dressed in a camouflage and balaclava as he went paint-balling that day at the Hollywood Sports Paintball Park in Bellflower, California,? the celebrity publication writes.
?Rarely seen without his parents around, he was at that time accompanied to the park by a bodyguard,? AceShowbiz adds.
It also stresses that this is not the first time when Brad and Angelina have such devices stolen either from their home or from among their belongings.
Because they rarely sit down for family portraits and the paparazzi ?sessions? are not a common occurrence, pictures of the power couple with all their kids sell for a lot of money ? and magazines are eager to pay for them no matter the price tag.
Police have not yet confirmed if that?s the reason the thief tried to steal the iPad. There is, however, a slim chance he didn?t even know whose car he was breaking into.
