Eugen Sandow, also known as the father of body building, was the first to promote body building as an event. The idea of physically strong and muscular bodies thrilled the general public and slowly and steadily, there were flocks of people waiting in line to buy the bodybuilding event tickets.
The first large scale body building competition took place on 16th January 1904 at Madison Square, ney York city, United States of America. The first ever winner of this competition Al Treloar, was declared The most perfectly developed man in the world, winning a cash price of $1000.

Post the 1950's Muscle building became more popular with more and more people wanting to buy event tickets to watch the body building competitions. The emergence of gymnastics further fueled the desire by the people to watch fitnesscompetitions. This paved the way for more competitions such as Mr. Universe and Mr. America. One of the first few Steve Reeves, played Hercules. Other popular Body builders include Reg Park, Arnoldetc.

In 1946, The International Federation of Body builders was formed by The Weiders . The federation was setup to give physique athletes center stage. Prior to the formation of IFBB, the body building scene was controlled by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). The first International Federation ofBody Builders competition was IFBB's Mr. America

In the year 2009, Sheru Classic Production introduced the first ever Body building competition in Punjab. The event was extremely well received and this prompted Sheru Classic Production to pursue the International federation of Body Building to grant them a pro show in India. Also, in 2010, Sheru Classic Production started setting up the infamous ?Gold's Gym? in India.

The first pro show in India, Sheru Classic Expo 2011, was a show of immense magnitude and had people rushing all over to buy this event's tickets. With the advent of Sheru Classic Expo, a wide door of opportunities opened up for domestic as well as international body builders.
Sheru Classic event tickets is now back for the second time in a row, and the people are raring to go.
